About this run
One hundred years of showing up when it matters. We are minting a commemorative challenge coin for the station's centennial, and every coin sold funds the restoration of Engine 3, our 1954 parade truck.
Never held a challenge coin?
It is a heavy metal coin with a group's own design struck into both sides. Units, crews, clubs and teams have carried them for a hundred years as proof you were there, and they get handed to somebody who earned the moment. This one is 1.75 inches across, which is a bit wider than a golf ball and heavy for its size, so it lives in a pocket, on a desk, or in a case.
